Carpenters Kids

Realizing that each child is uniquely made, C.K. Kindergarten uses a thematic approach and creates learning centers that encourage problem solving and critical thinking. Children are given the chance to explore and express themselves across different academic disciplines, through different mediums, and at individual skill levels.

At Carpenter’s Kids Kindergarten a young child’s natural curiosity is given a chance to grow. With classroom size limited to sixteen children, the teachers have the opportunity to observe and listen to children one on one and in small group settings. Teachers have liberty to create a curriculum that best meets the needs and interests of the children in their class. Our kindergarten teachers have four year degrees, years of classroom experience, and keep abreast of current educational research through their own learning and participation in state workshops and in-service training.

We continue to have our full day Kindergarten program as well as our half-day morning session. The half-day class currently meets from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
